Ekow (ĕkʹō) Daniels is a tri-cultural screenwriter and film/TV critic with over a decade of experience crafting communications for start-ups and the Fortune 50.  Born in Ghana and raised in London, Ekow’s passion for storytelling began early—he was scouted as a child actor at 13 years old for his debut on the BBC in London. 

A lifelong film enthusiast, he relocated to the States for college, then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, spending three years as an extra on iconic shows like Friends, ER, CSI, and The Practice.  His on-set experiences, combined with his global perspective, inspired him to pursue an MFA in Screenwriting to champion multicultural representation on screen.

Ekow’s reviews reflect his deep love for film, industry insight, and dedication to diverse storytelling. Whether praising a cinematic masterpiece or critiquing a blockbuster flop, his delightful view and voice are as thought-provoking as they are entertaining. Ekow resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife.  In his free time, he can be found ticking off his bucket list travel destinations, foodie spots, and finding his next favorite flick.
